What is KW Cares?
KW Cares is a tax exempt 501(c)3 public charity created to support Keller Williams Realty associates and their families in
times of extreme hardship.
This charity is the heart of the Keller Williams Realty culture in action – finding and serving the higher purpose of
business through charitable giving in the communities where our agents live and work.
KW Cares was the brainchild of the agents of Keller Williams Realty and Mo Anderson, CEO of Keller Williams Realty International,
took this dream and brought it to fruition. Today it is supported by all KW associates.
Even now as we focus on bringing relief to members of our KW family affected by Hurricane Katrina, KW Cares continues to support
our associates in times of national and personal crisis.
KW Cares also benefits other charities that are aligned with the mission and values of Keller Williams Realty and KW Cares.
What is a 501(c)3?
Identified by the IRS – a 501(c)3 is an organization that has been federally-authorized to receive tax deductible donations.
A 501(c)3 accepts donations and offers donors a tax exemption on their gifts as allowed by law.
All KW Cares donations go directly to those who need them.
100% of your contributions go directly to KW family members in need and charities that are aligned with the mission and values
of Keller Williams Realty and KW Cares.
What is KW Cares Heart 2 Heart Program?
In an effort to provide long-term support for those affected by Hurricane Katrina, each Gulf States KW family has been “adopted”
by market centers from across North America. Every market center has an assigned family.
What is a “Heart Specialist?”
The market center’s primary Heart 2 Heart leader is the Heart Specialist, who determines the scope of the family’s
essential needs, and integrates those needs with the resources of the market center or others in their network. They focus
on immediate, and then long-term needs of those affected.
